A Tear

Lord, as I lift up to you in prayer, someone I love so dear.
My heart feels like it's breaking, as I shed for them a tear.
Please take away their pain,
as you've seen all the tears they've cried.
And send from Heaven an angel,
with your love that's opened wide.
Comfort them my Lord, because they don' t understand.
How could this be, your will and perfect plan?
I want to ask you why, but those words I'll never hear.
So I'll stay on my knees, and shed for them a tear...
